When we stop seeking control…

There is so much anger in the world. I see it in the raving and ranting on social media.

Anger, for me, is a sign of utter helplessness. It stems from people who desperately want to control the world, the people around them, the outcomes. Failing to do so, they feel invalidated and so spew venom at the world that defies control.

The world is the Goddess. She cannot be controlled. She will dance around you like Kali or Durga. Torturing you like a yogini. Charming you like an apsara. Until, like Brahma, you finally submit, and let her transform into Saraswati, bringing you the wisdom that enables you to stop seeking control.

When we stop seeking control, we find freedom – liberation.

Moksha.
